ABOUT US
My name is Najib Daulatzai, and I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon practicing in London and Hertfordshire. I am dedicated to providing patient-centered care, ensuring that my patients' needs and preferences are at the forefront of their treatment journey.
As a specialist in minimally invasive surgery, including keyhole and robotic techniques, I strive to offer the most advanced and least invasive treatment options. I have extensive expertise in managing colorectal conditions, including colorectal cancer, benign bowel conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease, perianal conditions (hemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures), and hernias. Additionally, I am an accredited endoscopist, performing colonoscopies and flexible sigmoidoscopies to investigate a range of bowel symptoms.
I completed my medical degree at University College Hospital London and underwent rigorous specialty surgical training. To further enhance my skills, I pursued fellowships at St. Mark's Hospital London, focusing on advanced colorectal cancer, intestinal failure, and inflammatory bowel disease, and at Frimley Park Hospital, specialising in advanced laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery.
In addition to my clinical qualifications, I hold a Master's degree in Surgical Sciences from University College London and an MD research degree from Imperial College London. I have authored numerous publications and presented at national and international conferences.
